Summer's Sleep

This black wig maskie was made out of pre-loved materials. Braided to mimic plaits done by mothers lovers or friends. Black and braided and tied off with white satin ribbon, this maskie hopes to remind the wearer of decadent moments where they were reminded how full life can feel. Like mornings in the summer when you wake up for water and the sun has been waiting for you, your skirt still on the floor from the night before, and your skin damp with the sweat of a summer’s sleep.
